ESADA Signs MOU with the Indian Dairy Association

At the final plenary session of the 34th Indian Dairy Industry Conference, November 23rd-25th, 2005, the Indian Dairy Association (IDA) and the Eastern and Southern Africa Dairy Association (ESADA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, leading to a recognized platform of mutual cooperation and dialogue for the first time ever. Under the MOU, selected Indian manufactures and suppliers will be given privileged access to regional equipment and machinery markets in exchange for support in areas such as manpower development, technology transfer and technical support in such areas as policy reforms. Also discussed at the conference was the participation of IDA members at the next ESADA African Dairy Conference & Exhibition in Kampala Uganda. IDA will send a delegation of its members including suppliers, consultants and policy makers to attend the conference where India will be presented as the profiled country.
