ESADA SET TO LAUNCH FIRST DAIRY CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION
With support from RATES, the Eastern and Southern African Dairy
Association (ESADA) is in the final process of organizing the first
regional dairy conference and exhibition to be held at the Safari Park
Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya from May 23rd -25th, 2005.
The ADC (African Dairy Conference) promises to be a first rate
promotional and educational event with speakers drawn from leading
international dairy companies and associations around the world. In
addition to a number of key regional dairy industry luminaries, ESADA
is pleased to confirm that the current and former presidents of the
International Dairy Federation, Mr. Jim Begg and Mr. Philippe Jachnic
will be attending and speaking at the event. Mr. Jachnic is currently
serving as the Director of International Affairs of the French Dairy
Processors Association.
The exhibition will focus on highlighting regional dairy products
and on promoting allied industries including suppliers of dairy
processing equipment, accessories, and packaging machinery. Confirmed
sponsors for the event and social activities include Combibloc, Tetra
Pak, the Rwanda Investment Authority (RIEPA), and Bio Foods to name a
few.
